According to an article published by La Voz de Galicia, industrial competitiveness in Spain is in trouble. Rescuing the report of Funcas (Foundation of the Savings Banks) and the Chamber of Spain, we do not have an adequate environment because: education does not work and there is no adequate investment in R & D; the internal functioning of companies and; problems in the regulation of the international market.<\/p>\n

This fall, the news of closures of companies such as Alcoa (A Coru\u00f1a, Avil\u00e9s), Siemens Gamesa (Miranda de Ebro) and Vestas (Le\u00f3n) have taken place. The outlook is not much more encouraging in the near future, since the IPRI (Industrial Price Index) has risen by 5.2% in September as a main consequence of the increase in the price of energy.
